Got this myself on my phone, as well as it just refused to update. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be an issue that Facebook are aware of. It's an issue with the Facebook application, as well as not a generalised Play Shop problem.

This is what benefited me at least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Store, Clear information and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage area, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It does not injured if you reboot your phone before you attempt upgrading facebook once again. And, the install was SLOW. Just at least 4-5 minutes. But, it did job. If not try to uninstall it, or simply wait for a fix.
