What's Wrong with Facebook | Update 2019

Facebook went offline for many users on Thursday, with the world's most preferred social media network telling individuals that "something went wrong".

When checking out Facebook.com, rather than seeing the normal homescreen or news feed, customers were greeted with an empty screen and a brief error message.

" Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it as well as we'll get it fixed as soon as we can," the message reviews.

The blackout began at around 5.30 pm BST yet, for many customers, appeared to have been solved around 20 mins after.

Down Detector, which collates reports of preferred services being down, presented outages in the UK, Europe and the United States.

Of course, individuals took to Twitter to have their say.

The web site went down on Thursday mid-day and also brief-ly appeared to work once more for some individuals.

A spokesperson for Facebook has stated they are exploring what took place.
