If marking friends in images on your Facebook company page creates privacy problems or various other issues, make the effort to remove these tags. Locate the pictures and untag your friend or edit the inscriptions that display your buddy's Facebook name. After you remove the tags, the picture continues to be viewable on the web page without your close friend's link to his Facebook Timeline.

Untag On Facebook

Step 1. Open your Facebook account as well as click the "Gear" menu button. Click your company web page provided in the Use Facebook As area to open it.

Step 2. Click the "Photos" link under the cover photo to display a gallery of image thumbnails. If you do not see the picture you are trying to find, click "Albums" to view added images.

Step 3. Click inside the preferred image you wish to modify to open it in the image audience window.

Step 4. Computer mouse over the name link in the panel next to the picture to display "Remove tag" and afterwards click this link to delete the tag. As an option, click "Edit" below the caption to display the listing of names or tags. Click the "X" close to the buddy's name you intend to untag. Click "Done Modifying" to exit edit mode.

Step 5. Press "Esc" to close the image window and go back to the gallery of images. Click "House" or your page web link name to go back to the business web page.

You can only get rid of tags you added.
