Life event Facebook | Update 2019

Facebook's Life Event feature enables customers to highlight major occasions in their lives, such as when they got wed or had a youngster. Our overview will reveal you how to share a life event in a Facebook Information Feed post.

Step 1: Near the top of your Information Feed, tap "What gets on your mind?" to start producing a new blog post.

Step 2: Swipe up on the post options at the bottom of the screen to increase the menu.

Step 3: Faucet "Life Occasion."

Step 4: Touch among the suggested life events to add it to your post. Or, touch among the life occasion classifications, like "Traveling" or "Household," to see the events in that group. You can also touch the search bar on top of the screen to look for an event by hand, or to create your very own life occasion.

Step 5 (optional): If you tapped among the life event categories in Step 4, tap among the life events in the group to include it to your blog post. You can additionally tap the left arrow in the top-left corner of the screen to go back to the previous page, where you can pick a different category, or touch the search bar to search for an occasion or create your very own.

If you make a decision to develop your very own life occasion, follow Actions 1-3 above, and afterwards complete the adhering to actions.

Step 1: Touch the search bar on top of the display.

Step 2: Type the name you want your life event to have.

Step 3: Tap the event you’ve created.

Step 4: By default, the occasion will have a flag icon. Tap one of the icons to change it. Or, tap "Miss" in the top-right corner of the screen to keep the flag icon and add the occasion to your post.
