Tags are a huge part of images on Facebook. They let your good friends take photos of you, and then when they identify you, they'll show up on your Facebook page. Without tags, you 'd have to download and re-upload any kind of images you desired on your web page. Sadly, because you can be identified in any type of photo, you can be identified in images that aren't of you, or images where you don't look so wonderful. Locate the photo that you wish to remove the tag from. In the top right, it will note all the people marked in the photo.
